Nature's Vase
Artist
Rand Burns
Medium
Painting - Oil On Canvas
Description
A water lily acts as a natural vase for zinnias. The folded leaf is a waterlily pad, which, though still green and full of life, is in the process of closing in on itself. It is still however a life-giving vessel for the last hours of the cut zinnias. Lines and curves were an important part of this painting, keeping away from any harshness that would take away from the beauty of flowers and leaf.
