The unknown will open its doors to us. This was an actual event that family members saw in the desert out west. Skeptics at first, this event made a believer out of them. The large "craft" hovered for a good while overhead, while iridescent lights altered on and off and back and forth.

How fabulous that you painted this moment, and that it is a true story. I am a firm believer...surely we do not inhabit the universe alone.
Rand Burns replied:
Yes, a true story and still rings in my memory. A believer here too. Thank you Anne.

Wow this painting is definitely intriguing and impressive Randy!! that starry night sky is to die for. and the event you are depicting here actually reminds me of another event that happened in Phoenix AZ some years ago, when a V-shaped giant mother ship fly through the sky diagonally across 3 states and witnessed by many thousands of people. i had once seen a mother ship myself but once again in dream. i was driving on a highway around the airport, and the craft is so huge that it literally covered the entire airport and highway area around it. your art gave me so much excitement and happy memories i want to thank you for that my friend!! L/F
Rand Burns replied:
Orlando, I am glad you can relate to this scene and happy hearing your story. Thank you for sharing and enjoying this UFO work my friend. I appreciate your in-depth insight and comment plus the F/L here.

The cactus up front looks like it has alien eyes and is communicating with the space ship. Now today, if I were this cactus I would say "please beam me up to a cooler climate" ...perfect artwork for the heat today. If the cactus can "Stand" it, so should I as we are all water after all. Your art often narrates such wonderful thought provoking ideas, love that. F/L
Rand Burns replied:
Nancy, I love this brief narrative you tell. That is so interesting hearing of the cactus blooms as eyes and its standing so steadfast in the heat. Interesting. Thank you for expressing this idea and always for the F/L.
