Title
The Sky That Day #2
Artist
Rand Burns
Medium
Painting - Acrylic On Canvas
Description
Fall in Tennessee can have magnificent skies. The sumac along old fence rows and roads glows like a stoplight in the sun. One day during October my mother and nephew took a walk down a country road. This painting captures that special moment as they explore nature and walk under they clouds of autumn.

Autumn brings us so much above and beyond the changing of the colors. Quite the moment here with a wonderful sky.

This piece brings back the wonder of childhood, of getting up with the sun and running right outside to lie in green grass and watch the clouds sail by in the ocean of the sky. Wonderful. l.f
Rand Burns replied:
Ahhh, you did walk down this nostalgic road of youth and memories. I love your phrase 'ocean of the sky'. Thank you RC and for the l.f.
