Description

Several varieties of bamboo are illustrated in this 36 by 24″ acrylic painting. Black bamboo dominates with its rich, shiny stalks. The golden-yellow Robert Young is in rich contrast to the other varieties. One blue-caned stalk shines next to and the gold. The green variety is Kingdom of the Fairies and upon close inspection one can see interesting lines, cracks and crevices.
