Painting - Watercolor And Color Penicl On Arches Paper
Description
Imported from China in past history, the empress tree (paulownia tomentosa) is covered with fragrant, lavender flowers in late spring. The interesting buds are a velvety golden yellow, which compliments perfectly the light violet of the foxglove-like flowers. This painting is watercolor and color pencil on archers paper.

Beautiful work and it also shows me you have mastered many mediums over the years Randy, that is a great accomplishment and I think that is part of why your work in whole is so strong. This is the most fragrant flower in the world. You can smell it just driving by it. Yes, I love all mediums and thanking you for your comment on my work with them Nancy. I appreciate the F/L and hope someday you will see an empress tree.
