The last pumpkin on Earth, grown by nature, illuminated by moonlight, the one and only. Yet another star is approaching bringing hope for this planet. Clouds gathered around the moon, and soon they will block the view when the new star has arrived. Love this painting, Randy! Wonderfully painted as always, with deep meaning.

Lovely light and ambiance. This is so like the fields here in Vermont during harvest time, (lots of pumpkins and corns stalks here). The light from the moon falling to the field and the colors are just fabulous...there is a great depth of field created. The softness of the oil application makes me feel the calm and peacefulness of this beautiful landscape Randy. Love the star, almost like the company for the moon and pumpkin, a three-some. F/L
Randy Burns replied:
Nancy, thank you for your comment on this star and moon Halloween mystery. I am sure Vermont has scene just like this in the fall. I love Halloween and always do a series of paintings dedicated to its beauty. Thank you for your beautiful comment.
