Passing a garden of irises, a path leads to the lake's edge. Continuing the trail, reflections on water lead us upward. As much alive we are in the nebulous, misty sky as what we know of the earth we stand on.

I really love the endless perspective and splendid composition of this beautiful painting Randy!! the highlighted irises are so exquisite and elegant, to me they are the dancers of the flower world. the vastness of the landscape and cosmic theater in the divine sky is breath-taking and sensational. in my point of view, the pathway of this garden leads to the reflection of the moon on water, all the way to the layers of glowing clouds and beyond, created an invisible and inviting path to the heavenly realm. this is a path to enlightenment my friend!! God bless and be with you always!! L/F/FB
Rand Burns replied:

I see this very beautiful work as the Lovers with their children, the little girl one is like Father and elder son is like Ma, and thus the couple feels complete in a way creating garden of happiness for their children away from conflicts of world to be able to understand the world to make a better place later by learning some deep genuine lessons in fun way, so can became a good habit celebrating Life under the protection of Almighty Universe! It is beyond beautiful my friend! :)

I have always found that placing almost oversized objects (often flowers or plants) in the foreground as a gateway to the picture beyond is a really effective compositional tool. Here, you have demonstrated how perfectly that can work. And....again.....the sky!!!!! Wow. Yours are remarkable, every time. like/f
Rand Burns replied:
Anne, thank you for sharing your insight into this new work. I am happy you are familiar with this technique and pointed it out. I enjoy your gallery as well. Wonderful work. Thank you also for the FAVE here.
