I really love the endless perspective and splendid composition of this beautiful painting Randy!! the highlighted irises are so exquisite and elegant, to me they are the dancers of the flower world. the vastness of the landscape and cosmic theater in the divine sky is breath-taking and sensational. in my point of view, the pathway of this garden leads to the reflection of the moon on water, all the way to the layers of glowing clouds and beyond, created an invisible and inviting path to the heavenly realm. this is a path to enlightenment my friend!! I have always found that placing almost oversized objects (often flowers or plants) in the foreground as a gateway to the picture beyond is a really effective compositional tool.
