Items left behind: the tin man's axe, the witches' broom, the scarecrow's hat, the cowardly lion's footprints and Dorothy's basket. In the distance is a glow of the emerald city, without a hint of a building. This is a little different viewpoint focusing on the memory of the event and how time leaves a trail of nostalgic things and places even when the people have faded.

This painting is grand fun, Rand. I have noticed it before, and this time when I looked, what jumped out at me was the magnificent negative shapes created by the tree trunks against the glowing green/blue sky. Pure artistry, my friend.
