Title
Place of Dreams
Artist
Rand Burns
Medium
Painting - Acrylic On Canvas
Description
Inlets and pools are filled by a waterfall, which comes directly from the top of a large rock like feature. Quiet and still, except for the rush of the moving water, this place has been visited in the past, as the small foreground steps indicate. Mysterious, dreamy and meditative, it is a place of dreams.

I agree with Tracey that you are indeed a wonderful artist Randy and this painting seems to be causing quite a stir! How nice that it is named specially for someone. I have no more thoughts other than it is beautiful and peaceful and a lovely place to return to.
Rand Burns replied:
Jane, you just made me so happy with your kindness and sincerity. Yes, Tracey is a wonderful soul. We have been friends for years. She has gone through so much. I wanted to paint a place filled with peace and contentment. I knew the title would be appropriate for her and a place she could view and escape the struggles of life. Thank you so much Jane. I feel your and my art are related in so many ways.

This painting was named for me. I am so honored. Randy is a dear friend who has stood by me through thick and thin. He does not abandon his friends. He is a fantastic artist and I have always been the number one fan of his artwork. It comes from his heart and soul and he puts everything into it. I love this painting because like I told him "it looks like my escape". Thank you for naming it for me my love. Tracey
Rand Burns replied:
Yes, my dear Tracey this is in honor of you and our friendship. I will always stand by you throughout our lives. To my number one fan, who I love now and always. I apprecaite you so much. Thank you Tracey.

Randy, this is SO very different and very beautiful indeed. It feels ancient, yet it could be now. Timeless! It could be here on earth and it could equally be elsewhere. I will have to visit this again as I know I will have more thoughts.Extraordinary ! v/f
Rand Burns replied:
Jane, what a powerful, expressive comment! I was hoping someone would say timeless, as after I finished it that is exactly what I thought. Thank you so much and for the v/f!
