This painting seems different than your other paintings Randy!! it seems to focus more on the beautiful display on the table than anything else. love the details and the vibrant colours expressed on those objects. what i love even more is the dramatic contrast i see here. the brilliant colours and details of a condensed area, versus the rest of the painting which carry the message of simplicity and minimalism. i found this concept very clever and i enjoy it my friend!! Immediately I thought of O'Keefe, I do not know why, maybe it is the desert and the wonderful southwest colors. This is a lovely work and also mysterious for me, I expect the fringe on the scarf to start moving and the tree to start walking, almost as if it truely is movement frozen for a short capture.
