Randy, this is a wonderful composition you’ve painted! The colors in the clouds, and reflection on the water, the path...but when my eyes reached the parting of the clouds, the full moon and the ten thousand stars, I immediately thought of the Rapture of the bride of Christ as she is called heavenward to meet her Groom! I cannot stop looking at the starry night sky and the reflective moon in this sensational painting Randy!! the vertical depth is so vivid and magnetic, for a while, i was not standing on Earth. the illuminated clouds with soft glows of magical colours is stunning to view. together with the vast landscape below it, they created another wonderful visual depth which i love. i see a traveler taking a journey. although i see man-made light guiding his way, the source is limited. i felt he has turned his trust and faith to the heaven, for he knows this is where the true guidance come from. what a deep and meaningful painting my dear friend. may God be with you with lots of blessings!!
