Incorporated within the various themes of my art, fantasy plays a major role in its development. From memory, pieces like the 'The Glass Slippers' appear to me completed in my mind's eye. Clouds and moonlight are an essential part in all of my fantasy landscapes. Toning the canvas prior to the initial painting gives the sky a luminous quality and a glow, which adds to the depth and intrigue of the setting.

Those colorful clouds seem to be cradling that magnificent moon, absorbing its radiant glow, Randy! Don't know what I like most here; the clouds, always a favorite element in your paintings, that absolutely gorgeous gardens, another fave, or the outstanding castle! Combined, they make this magical place of pure joy, Randy! Think I might have ditched the fancy slippers, and gone running through the gardens without them! Beautiful work of art, Randy! L/F
Rand Burns replied:
I love your comment about ditching the shoes and running through the gardens. Glad also you enjoyed the clouds and glowing moon above. Thank you for sharing your visit and for the F/L my friend.
