Mexican heat with passion and warm hearts! Cosy with a great feel of security and protection. So well painted, Randy!!! Enjoying all the details of blossoming flowers, and can even hear the music through the protective walls. Straight paving, order and discipline of society and family. A great vision to behold in this times.

The reference to Gaugin was with regard to how he created and left a beautiful and enduring legacy of a then unknown world in his Tahiti paintings. In the colonial era with no access to technology and photography, his work was an entry into a different and exotic universe. A visual anthropological study through painting. The similarity is in the colours and the themes you showcase in your works on the wonders and beauty of the quaint Mexican landscapes which also like Gaugin's Tahiti draw the view into an alternate and very beautiful reality!:)
Rand Burns replied:
Renu, thank you for your beautiful insight and always for your kind support. You have mine as well.

This landscape of old Mexico radiates so much warmth in the colours and the theme. It's like a world unto itself surrounded and guarded by the picturesque environs of mountains and the blue sky. Nice to discover through your paintings these exotic secret world that exist and thrive in their beauty. The white blooms stand out prettily amidst the warm tones! Somehow, reminded of Gaugin:)
Rand Burns replied:
Thank you Renu. I appreciate your beautiful comments with such insight and care. Thank you for the reference to Gaugin. I am honored and humbled. God be with you and keep you safe and well.
