A foot across, this large starfish-shaped bloom is a succulent native to south Africa. The Stapelia family of succulents all have uniquely curious blooms. Leading our eyes into the center of the bizarre flower, red streaks lie atop a tan to beige colored ground. A shadowy background adds to the mystery of this otherworldly plant.
