This is the creation I could not have stopped myself to meditate upon again and again with visiting your site even before after you have uploaded this very enlightened creation in infinite of optimism! As I here see the real meaning of Life which as the purpose of glowing in love while healing each other as green to breathe at peace, which is a real treasure of becoming each other's first aid as only jewel that would always be shimmering from inside with or without support as per the phenomena defines Polarization and Immersion of light! I just love this so much my dear very generous friend Randy as you know how to be magically balanced for going on forever green! Blessings, safety, love, peace, light, hugs, and light, forever! :)
Rand Burns replied:
Dear friend, I am honored always by your complete and generous comments. Your beautiful insight always means so much. Blessings to you Tejsweena.

….and once again prayers are needed for New Orleans, as well as everyone in the wake of Ida. I really like the limited color palette in this painting, highlighted by the red and the green Mardi Gras beads. Like/f
Rand Burns replied:

Such and honorable commentary for the devastating hurricane Randy. You are a wizard at symbolism and making a work of art come together from edge to edge. I feel the dynamic light here really adds to the emotional expression. Painted so well, even the differences in the types of wood are evident. Such great work F/L
Rand Burns replied:
Nancy, I love symbolism in work and seems to be the area most I enjoy in painting. Thank you for your comment on this hurricane devastation scene in oil. I am glad you stopped by and chose this one. Thank you also for the F/L.

This is such a meaningful image for me, Randy! Katrina was horrible to New Orleans, the city most people think of when mentioning Mardi Gras. But, that storm also did a big number here in Mobile, as well as the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Mardi Gras is huge in Mobile, too, as we claim being the original Mardi Gras in this country...taking it later to NOLA...they just made it a bigger deal! And that event is all along the coastal region. Anyway, I love the addition of the cross in this painting, as it is with our Faith and Trust in God, a much greater being than any of us, that we get through our trials and tribulations, such as that storm. Thanks for creating such a beautiful image! Love this! L/F
Rand Burns replied:
Marian, thank you for stopping by and commenting on this emotional piece of work. You are in that area and know you know the destruction it must have caused. I appreciate your appreciation of this work. Thank you for the F/L on it.
