***Congratulations, your work is featured on the homepage of "Created by Southern Artists" on May 7th, 2020. Thank you very much for your kind support David Neace.***
Narrating the scene and representing the light of God, the brilliant moon cast its shadows. Near the old man and his dog, a window pane signifies the cross. Its presence a forever reminder of our Lord's sacrifice, above all past and presence, and the joy of heaven's glory to come.

Such a somber mood here, Randy! Can't help but wonder what he's saying to God in the silent moments here. As usual, your use of light is wonderful and the colors chosen are beautiful! Gorgeous work, my friend! LF

Beautiful symbolic work of art. The moon, although partially obscured, is the key feature in your artwork as it sheds light in a time of darkness & shows the way. L/F

Such an inspirational painting Randy! Like most of your paintings...it's a thing to note that the omnipresent moon always has a symbolic presence and there is always a chosen one - man or a flower or a plant receiving the grace of the Lord through a silent monologue. The play of light and shadow with the symbolic underpinning of the window pane here is so thoughtful and reveals athe genius of imagination! The mood is awe inspiring, because though it is a moonlit night, the man is not alone but in the care and guidance of higher divine and celestial forces!
Rand Burns replied:
Renu, you are extremely observant. Thank you for exploring and expressing your thoughts on this work, as you hit exactly what I am trying to say. God bless and be with you always.

Night tones make a whole different painting here. Wonderful feelings of a man and his dog.

Wow Randy, this painting is very deep and inspiring, and filled with spiritual thoughts!! for me, the colours of the sky with the glowing moon illuminating both heaven and Earth set a sacred tone for the scene. a hopeful and faithful message that there is always Light in the dark. the window pane with the cross undeniably is a symbol of Christ. what i love is whether one is facing the Light of god or is dealing with one's shadow, the cross is still obviously there to provide eternal love, comfort and security. so what is there to fear when God's love is both on the outside and within? and both in the Light and shadow? faith is the key to a universe full of blessings, and that is the strong message i got from this remarkable work my dear friend!!
