This beautiful and inspired painting speaks to my own experience, Randy. Last Easter Sunday, I had my breath taken away by a huge cross that appeared in the sky at dawn. Throughout the day, I saw two more (though more subtle) crosses in the sky. It certainly made me take pause.

The composition and visual depth of this painting is definitely stunning and breath-taking Randy!! i love how the peaceful lake is embraced by the grace and wonder of Creation. those clouds look so heavenly and real. i particularly enjoy seeing the cross cloud because that was exactly what i saw yesterday during a sunset walk at the beach. when i see the cross cloud on the soft peach coloured sky, i said to myself, wow that just look exactly like Randy's paintings. this artwork is so beautiful my friend, it actually reminds me of heaven on Earth.
