Perfect painting for me to see before I recline and retire tonight...I will think of these thistles and so I am not alone in sharing a long hot summer day anf the desire to bed down to the cool soft ground. How beautiful they are, such a pretty purple and full of textural delight created with such care, each little single flower blade is rendered in paint; showing such patience and fortitude..sweet pastoral dreams for us all F/L
