A bench invites us to sit and view the jet contrail, which has formed a cross in the sky, as they often do. It is fall of the year and the moving toward the end of the season with winter rest as our own process in life of change and passage of time. The cross signifies hope and spirituality and also the afterlife. The bench sits as the focal point for us to view the symbol of the cross.

Randy, I look at this and think of a hymn, "Peace in the Valley" with the words "There will be peace in the valley for me, some day. There will be peace in the valley for me, oh Lord I pray. There'll be no sadness, no sorrow. No trouble, trouble I see. There will be peace in the valley for me, for me". This is truly a scene of peacefulness, of spiritual calm! L/F
