Corresponding to the ripples in a sky blue lake, a sumac leaf is brightened by the color it rests on. A palette itself, God's creation displays always a glimpse of heaven in often simplistic moments of nature.

This painting is magnificent and sensational Randy!! i really love the endless perspective, and the wonderful landscape and cloudscape. the fragile leaf reaching the end of its cycle gracefully felt into the peaceful lake creating gentle ripples that will reach out far and beyond the leaf can ever imagine. although seeing a physical ending of the leaf, i see divine and holiness in the sky expressing in beautiful spiritual colours at the same moment, telling me the love of our Creator to its creation is eternal. the death of this leaf is only on the physical plane. it will shine and grow again with blessings on a higher dimension. what a deep painting my friend. you are a master in story telling!!
