Nice depiction of a walnut, Randy! Thought this was an acorn squash cut open at first glance; very similar! Then read your description! Learn something new...also Spanish for "nuts"! Don't remember that from 2 years of Spanish...won't say how many years ago!!! L/F
Rand Burns replied:
Marian, thank you for your comment on this closeup image of a walnut. Glad you learned a new word and enjoyed this image. Thank you for the F/L.

My grandparents had two black walnut trees on their farm. When I was young and more stupid I loved to frolic in those smelly things that fell. The husk of a walnut rots naturally and is a mess. This however Randy is no such thing. Nice work.
Rand Burns replied:
This sounds like some of the ventures I did as a kid. Yep, we must be related. Love your story. Thank you Skip.
Elisabeth Lucas
Love it, we can find beauty in so many things of we just make the effort to look! Lf
Rand Burns replied:
Thank you Elisabeth. Almost all of this seed pod series is sold. I am glad you enjoyed this detail and idea of these still life studies and appreciate the L/F.
